playing in the shallows = no pee!

I just can't remember how hard the water is supposed to stream out of the tell tail when hooked up to the ears.

by the way when hooked up to the flush port water flows out of the water ports on the lower unit, and out of the prop everything seems to be good.

With the ears on the flow out the pee hole depends on the seal of the ears. With the hose on the port the flow should be strong out the pee hole!

Engine hose connection: You DO NOT run your engine plus the hoses are much smaller diameter, the tstat will not open and the engine doesn't get as good of a flush as fluch cuffs (wih a good seal)or water being sucked in by the water pump at the lower unit like in a lake, run in a tank or other body of water.

BeeReel would be right as you should see a solid stream though because if you follow the rubber hoses you will probably see that where the portside hose connection goes into the water jacket and the tell tale exits are fairly close. You should be able to follow those hoses around and see where they are going.
