well we decided to go for halibut, since we all had not landed one in at least 2 years. we get out to the area of which we would be fishing, and one of my crew noticed that the bait pump was not working well..HMMMmmnnn..Oh well let s keep fishing untills she dies...Soon she started Howling, and we knew the end was near...BUT NOT BEFORE we landed 8 Yes I said 8 legal Halibuts. 2 of which were a mere 23 inches, LEGAL but we let them go and kept the 37, 38, 38,37, 32, 33, Inch Hali's.

Thats awesome Genelie. It must of been a good 2 days for flatfish on both coasts.

I cant touch your barndoors but I got into some nice lefty doormats here on the right coast on friday. Minimum keeper here in Va. is 19" with a bag limit of 5 per person. I got into 9 keepers and actually got to cull 2, which is almost unheard of here.

Managed 2-20", 1-21", 1-23", and 1-23.5"

A EXCELLENT day of fishing.

Thanks for that, the other site well you know how it is...anyway, all on the drift..we were going to do the bounce, but the drift was just doing just fine. I actually called out for you....
