Hi all and happy new year! It is hard to believe that 2025 is already here! We started this website in late November of 2004 as a gathering place for owners of Triumph and Logic Boats. 20 years later, Triumph owners still come here to search our database of threads and posts by Triumph owners, former Triumph boat dealers and factory personnel. Of course Triumph Boats closed their doors several years ago, but thousands of these boats are still in operation. Our search function (above) provides a great resource to search the myriad of questions asked about these boats over the years.

While our user base is smaller, there are still almost 200 current Premium Member subscribers that support the website. Thank you for being one of them.

If you haven't posted in awhile, why not make a post with a photo of your boat (whether in the water or the driveway) with any ideas for getting it ready for the 2025 boating season or tackling any maintenance or modification ideas you've been planning to take care of this year.

We look forward to hearing from you! Again, thank you for being a part of this community!

Blessings,

Happy New Year to all! Here's my 2008 195CC about ready to launch off the Texas City dike a couple months ago.
Thinking I might get some new electronics this year, a new chartplotter.

That is a sweet looking rig Mike!

Great boat with great Flags!
I put a Simrad 9 nss evo on mine and it’s great.
I repowered mine with Yamaha 115 Vmax, I got a pronounced list at top speed. Mechanic told me it’s because it’s underpowered with a higher hp motor just the lower unit would be in the water.
Wondering if you have the same issue with listing to port side. I just hope my hull isn’t warped or something.
Great boat otherwise.
I just hate to spend $20K on a 175hp to have the same issue.
Take care,
Walt Dimek

Hi Walt. I'm running that Zuke 150, (basically a detuned 175) spinning a 3x16x18½ SS prop, and have no list at all. But I also found that I could not get the motor high enough without the use of a jackplate. I opted for a hydaulically adjustable one with a 6" setback. On plane, the antiventilation plate skims the surface of the water. Most 195CCs were rated 150 hp max, but mine is placarded for 175 max.

I have a small Garmin 546s plotter right now, but am really looking hard at some Simrads.

Great information! THANKS!
If there is any possibility of a picture or make and model of the jack plate that would be a game changer.
Where I plan on upgrading to the 175 Vmax they for some reason aren’t too fond of Triumphs, I think it’s just ignorance with ropelene. My plate says 175 also.
If you don’t feel like sharing pics on the site my cell is 207-249-5773.
Really appreciate your time and info.
I’ve only had my 195 for two years now after outgrowing my 170cc but love this dam boat.
God Bless and thanks again
Walt

Here ya go, Walt ..... this is the manufacturer's website https://bobsmachine.com/product/6-setback-action-series-jack-plate/

and this is where you'll probably get the best price (where I got mine 8-9 years ago) Amazon

BTW. the Simrad GO9 XSE is the one I'm thinking of for my upgrade.

Thank you for the info!
I’m wondering how the pump etc will hold up in salt water for 5 months dockside etc.
I keep the boat at a marina May-Oct.
I’m sure it’s made for it but most videos I see guys trailing.
What a great idea!
Also are your controls mounted on the console somewhere?
I bet your sorry you posted that picture now with all these questions lol!

No problem. LOL I'll show you pics in a couple days. Not inclined to go out there in the cold wind. But come Saturday or Sunday, I hope to unzip the cover and put the muffs on and exercise the motor for a half hour or so. Will get some pics then. It gets cold in Texas too, ya know. Was 18° here yesterday morning. But I'm up in the hills at 2000' elev. Colder than a lot of these parts. Expecting snow/ice mix tomorrow. Was 80° here Sunday. LOL Gets cold, but never lasts.

I hear you, I’m in Maine and it’s cold and windy too last week or so. One I put the boat away in October I feel like I press pause and wait 7 long months to get after things again.
I took my live well/chairs out and replaced it with a leaning post so I could put a cooler underneath it for dry storage which the boat lack. I also attached a cooler to the bow for a fishing seat and again more dry storage.
I wasn’t able to post pictures because it says the file is too large but I can probably text them etc.
Thanks again for your help!
