Still Lovin' my 96 Logic

Hey everyone,
I'm the second owner of a 96 Logic 150. I've had it 12 years & can verify these boats can stand up to abuse & neglect!
I'm mostly in the shallows with the oyster beds, & have hit more sandbars than I care to admit, but my boat has handled it all. The 40 hp Force gets a lot of sneers & jokes made about it, but it's still kicking, so it's staying. I don't have to worry about anyone stealing it
I joined to get the bunk layout for my trailer, but I'm looking forward to learning more about the boat.

Welcome Aboard and what a old warhorse that is!
Now is that a older Chrysler Force, or Newer Mercury Force variant? I agree though, if it works no need to change it

It's a 1997 Mercury Force. With the help of google/ youtube I've learned how to do some maintenance myself. Bad fuel/ ethanol are the main problems I've dealt with. It shakes @ idle, like many I've seen online, but runs strong once on a plane.

Try some of this in the fuel tank and allow it to both set for a while in the tank before running it through

Some of the shakes could be simple crud build up, as well as needing the idle circuits cleaned up some. This (short of taking thing apart) should help with both

I've seen that, but always used sea foam. I'll check it out.
