Just joined. I purchased a 2003 Truimph190 bay in October and have yet to have it out. Winter came quickly and it sits in my driveway as I write this. Looking for information regarding how to find some replacement parts for the boat.

Jeff, Welcome to the forum! Your best place to get replacement parts for your boat will be Merritt Marine in NC. Carl who is the owner has the largest stock of parts for Triumph boats. Much more than the factory ever had. Just give them a call and talk to him or his son Chad.

Thank you for responding. I have done a little reading today and I am a little disheartened after reading about cracked hulls. I bought my boat after a friend bought one and I went out with him in fresh water and on the ocean off the Oregon coast. I was so impressed with how his boat handled I went in search of one selling my old boat. I found a 2003 190 that is in pretty decent shape. It has a few cosmetic issues with some missing parts and a tac and speedometer that aren't working. It's winter now and the fishing season is over for me. I'm in the process of getting a metal carport ordered and delivered to get it under cover. Also looking for a cover for it, but it has the T-top and that seems to be an issue. I don't want to take it off.

Jeff, you will find that most of the cracked hulls were the old logic boats and still for the amount of hulls produced the number that had problems like the cracks is very few. I had a 2007 190 Bay for 3 years and loved it. WE used to take it 20 miles out into the Gulf of Mex. fishing and diving. Just keep searching on the net, their are companies that do make covers for your boat. Also do a search of the forum using the word cover. If the hulls not cracked now I would believe its not going to crack in the future!!!! Also if you need to replace the tach and speedo I would look at fuel management system gauges depending on your engine. One of the best purchases I can recommend to you is here on the forum, the Triumph Owner's Maintenance DVD for $30 you won't be sorry!

Jeff, welcome to the Triumph Owners network. I have owned my Triumph since October 2010. As a new member I have found some great advice from the net by reading older forums and blogs. I can concur with Harley about Merritt Marine. I e-mailed and have spoken to Chad and Chet, they are great. I had the opportunity to stop by during our Thanksgiving break when I went to North Carolina and picked up several items. As I walked around I notice a wealth of Triumph parts. I also recommend getting the DVD about Triumph maintenance, the DVD helped with my basic knowledge. If you have part questions or questions in general e-mail is the best way to start with Merritt Marine and then follow with a phone call to clarify questions. Welcome.

A must for the 190cc is Nauticus Smart Tabs. I had a 190 and then went with a 195cc and installed them on both boats. The inprovement in handling, plaining, hole shots and top end speed is dramatic. Here is the link SMART TABS raise your performance expectations.. As to a cover I went with a center console top cover from T-Top Boat Covers. I take all the seats and cushions and put them under the T top and the install the curtin. It works well and protects all the vinyl from sun and rain. For the winter I juts put a tarp over the boat. We get snow up here in the NE too. Good luck with the boat I'm sure you'll love it.

Dennis. I appreciate your recommendation on the SMART TABS and will be looking for them shortly. How difficult were they to install. I did some research on-line and is it as easy as it appears?
Dave

It was easy. less trhan 1/2 hour. Just make sure you use Sudbury Rule Elastomeric Marine Sealant, you can get it from merritt marine. It's the only one that works well with Ropelene.
