Heading to the Chesapeke BAY :) "STRIPER TIME"

All wish me some luck.... I will be up at the Chesapeke Bay Friday night and will fish until Sunday Morning around 11am..... If you are out there hit me up "PlasticBay" on 18*..... Got a couple boats going so hopefully one of us get on them and we all can load the coolers!!!! Putting in at Kipt-State-Park and staying at the Hotel just off the bridge to the left.... I will post PICs on Monday of the trip!!!!

Boost good luck I am driving down on sunday from NY state Staying at the Kiptopeake Inn and fishing Mon and Tue. To long of a haul to bring my boat. Fishing with Capt Tom Hughes in his 23' twinvee.

OK, here is the report..... Pictures to follow.... Got there at 5:30 am Saturday morning after a 6 hour drive. Cold, very cold and rough for the first 3 hours.... Got a little warmer but still rough almost lost it there.... Had to take a nap!

* Got our first hook up at around 1 PM. My buddies little boy had him on for a couple minutes and then lost him. Little guys arms were toasted! 30+ Pound Striper pulling plus a 5 MPH Rip Current working for the striper......

** Next guy got on at 1:15 PM..... Little man wound for about a minute and gave the rod to his dad ....... Dad fought the fish for about 4 minutes and then gave the rod to me.... I laid the smack down on that striper in about a minute ....... That one was 43.5" and 37 Pounds live weight.

***Waited until 5:15 PM for the next bite..... Got hooked up with a drag/clicker SCREAMING!!!!! LOVE IT ....... I fought this PIG for 10 Good Minutes and my arms were burning. Fish was 46" and 42 pounds ......

Just got done broiling 2 large slabs of striper and man...... AWESOME!!!!!

Oh yea....I cut open their stomachs and all eels!!! Smaller fish had 9 + the one that got him in the boat in his stomach.... Bigger fish had 3 eels and a couple fish.....

Well at this time the seas are 4' and the weather forecast is terrible for this weekend so you are all off the hook ...... I will have to finish my Deer Season this weekend.

Pamarine> I will be going to Louisiana the week after Christmas and will try to get a Trolling Trip out of Rudees after the first of the year pending funds ......... We will see what Irons Out!

BigBird> Going to start Cat and Striper Fishing around the house after the 1st of the year and make a trip to the James in Feb if possible. Keep me up to date on your weekend adventures. I need to come and take some leasons from you on Big Blue Cats.....
