Until I get my new boat in the water in the Spring, I will have very little to contribute to the forum insofar as my 170 CC is concerned...so I'll just keep the recipe's comin'...
Hre's one that I do quite frequently when I'm in Maine on assignment in the winter....
Poor Man's Stroganoff
Ingredients:
2-3 lbs of Ground Chuck 85% fat free
3 cans of Campbells Golden Mushroom Soup
1 8 oz bottle of Green Giant sliced mushrooms
1 small sweet onion diced
1 yellow/green/orange/green Bell pepper diced
1 clove of garlic diced
1 8 oz container of sour cream
1 8 oz can of tomatoe sauce
Brown the ground beef with the onion, pepper, and garlic.
With 85% fat free ground beef, no draining of fat is necessary.
Add remaining ingredients EXCEPT the sour cream.
Simmer for about 1-2 hours on very low heat, stirring occasionally.
Add the sour cream and heat through over 30 minutes or so.
Serve over white rice or extra wide egg noodles.
