do all triumph boats need to have some kind of a transom saver

My vote would be YES.

My trailer does NOT move out of the driveway without our "My-Wedge" in place.

From the factory:
If he is talking about the type that you put under the motor when it is
trimmed up, then the answer would be no, that is more for the tilt
cylinder on the engine than the boat, however it is not a bad idea as
most engine manufacturers do not recommend hauling the boat around with
the engine trimmed up and just resting on the built in locking brace.
If he is talking about an engine bracket that goes under where the
engine is mounted then the answer would be yes.

right vic the wedge will help to save your tilt cylinder but you dont need any more support for the transom other than the ss plate under the motor. i need to get me one just to be safe where did you get yours the ones that go from the motor to the trailer are to much trouble....with your motor trimmed down on to your locking bracket can you still move you motor up and down by hand a e-tec want the motor locks out

Cabela's -- Panther Adjustable Transom Saver
I use the Panther adjustable for F250 on a 235 and am very happy with results. If your transom saver is not transfering the load to the trailer, you're not saving the transom from anything while trailering.
