Trailer Bunks

Need Suggestions.
I have an ez load bunk trailer for my 190 Bay. Screws that hold bunk in place keep comimg loose . Ive tried over size screws, turned bunks end to end to get fresh wood to hold to. i though i try using carrage bolts (round Head) and counter sinking them, but this would damage carpet. Last time at lake lanuched boat and bunk fell off. (Hairy experience). Could use some suggestions

Loose Bunk Boards

Davy,

Flat washers and Nylock nuts, steel or SS. Counter sink on boat/ carpet side. May have to tighten one time to account for wood shrinkage if high moisture is present in the wood. Should take care of loose boards.
