Hi all. This is a pivotal year for the future of our website. With the official closing of Triumph Boats we had a decision to make. Would we just hang on here as long as there was someone interested in Triumph Boat information and then turn off the lights when the last person leaves? Or would we change our focus and expand our reach to revive the participation and build the user base? We decided to pursue the latter.
Our new focus will enable us to maintain this archive of information on Triumph and Logic Boats, maintain the network of active Triumph owners, and at the same time build a new audience of other boat owners and outdoor product enthusiasts. We will be working to update a great deal of the website and in the next two weeks will announce some major changes that I hope you are all going to be enthusiastic about. We are expanding the scope and reach of the website and will be revealing a new brand name and website soon! This is going to be fun!
As a part of this transition, effective today, we are changing the name of the Captains Club to Premium Member, reducing the cost of the Premium Member subscription from $15/year to $12/year and doing away with the shorter term subscriptions. We also added an additional 3 months to the subscriptions of those that paid $15 prior to the change. And by request we've added a Lifetime Premium Member option as well.
In the coming weeks we will also be opening up many forums for general access to expand our audience, creating new forums for other interests and at the same time enhancing the Premium Member subscription access to new content. Our goal is to expand the site to a larger audience and add new content of interest beyond that of Triumph Boat owners.
There is a lot in the works! And we hope you like it.
