Spare Tire Saving Your $$$$

I got a full size spare for my 190 Bay trailer with a Galvonized Rim for $110.00 from an inland trailer supply company here in Jersey. My local Boater's World and West Marine wanted more than twice that!!!

I went to my local tire store. They had some used galvanized rims that were full of grease. Purchased new tire and rim with mounting for $80. A little elbow grease and soap/water and the rim looks new!

I wish my spare tire story was as inexpensive. My Ezloader which came with my 2008 195DC just happens to be somewhat out of the ordinary. The tires are ST225 75R15s with 5 (not 6) lug. Even when I called Ezloader they had a tough time finding the right tire and rim. Ended up costing me $188 plus about $90 for shipping.
