Hey folks

I’ve aquired my first pleasure craft! A 2002 190 bay. The big plan is to get momma out to the little island she used to go to as a little girl for family camping. While she’s got some mobility left. It’s not far and I think the plastic will handle the light “beaching” on the rocky coast.

It’s been used hard, so there are some projects I can hopefully get some insight on here. She needs an engine, trying to source a decent used one. Apparently the gas tank won’t feed the outboard, I know I can just use an auxiliary, but I really like the idea of that big ol tank sitting midship, and the previous owner 5200’d the boat plugs. One popped right out. Anyway, I’ll do some digging once I go premium.

Welcome aboard Capt John and congratulations on the 190 Bay. That was a great hull. There are lots of posts in the 190 forum along with a lot of photos in the owners galleries.

Next Tuesday our website will be celebrating our 20th anniversary! While not as active as we used to be, the goal has been to keep this online resource for Triumph and Logic Boat owners going as long as our members help keep supporting it. Even though Triumph Boats went out of business several years back now, we have threads and posts from owners, former Triumph dealers and former Triumph factory personnel. So there is a lot of info here and the Search function above works pretty well.

Again welcome aboard and post some pics of your 190 Bay as you are restoring and outfitting her!

Blessings
