Lajolla kelp beds 7-2-05

Well, went to lajolla kelps....to try out my new chummer....THE ONLY thing I could get to come was bait.....So YES I made my first bait on those tiny little hook thingy's...it was fun, and we landed 6 baby white sea bass released unharmed, 3 or 4 baby yellow tail released unharmed, and about a good dozen big macks for a later slow troll for nothing.
But I can now say I made bait.
