Improved bow support on trailer

Has anyone make any mods to the front bow support on the 210/215 trailers?
I've always felt that this area should be better supported. I keep my hull cranked up on the front winch roller to keep a little bit of daylight on the rubber pad so I don't develop a hook but I hear that can lead to cracks in the front winch hook area. I haven't had any cracks in the 11 yrs I've owned her so all is good but I would like to make an improvement to the front support. If anyone has pics of improvements to this area I would appreciate it if you could share the info.

Find the balance between snugged-up to the winch, yet keeping that hull on the support.
