I want to replace the bow stop--

Hi there and Happy 4th of July! My blue bow-stop is looking pretty ragged. Can I I replace it with any bow stop? I'm assuming this is the original and it's made of a rubber material. I'd prefer the clear orange type-they seem to be more rigid and they do not leave marks the bow. Must I use the more flexible rubber type? Any comments will be appreciated.

Doesn't matter the composition, They are all made to do the same job. Only thing that matters is getting correct size.
