Greetings from the great Pacific Northwest!

Just picked up a 2002 170 Sportsman TL with an '06 Yamaha 50 for use in the local Puget Sound waters and area lakes. As I'm primarily a fly fisherman, the open uncluttered design of this boat will make a great casting platform. Fought trailer lighting issues for several weeks until the shop that had installed the hitch finally figured out the converter (to make my 3 bulb system work with the trailer lamps) was the type that had a self-protect system that would maddeningly and unpredictably kick in-and-out. They put in a different brand of converter and now all is well. Looking forward to both getting the boat out on the water and also perusing all the information here on the site!
