HEY all guys and gals in the san diego county, I will be heading out this sunday morning, heading towards the 181--------to the 43 if your are out give a shout. I will be looking for Blue fin tuna, and our yellowtails .

OMG, the conditions were crappy on Sunday. First time in a long time I got seasick.....and not just a little :-&

Hopefully, you did better.......I was too busy chumming to do any fishing

OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!! small craft advisorie..and I still went out. I was tossed around like a ping ball. you know our boats draft real nice, And I never usaully get wet. BUT NOT THIS DAY:D :D :D The wind was houling so bad, that even a little draft of water blew in. My partner between gripping for dear life, and praying we get back safely, was busting up , for I WAS GETTING SOAKED,since I was on the side of the wind>>>:( BUt we did manage to get the skunk off the baot with one BONNIE, so we called it a day after that. OH I saw another triumph it was a 215 with a radar, in Mission bay, it looked as if he was a on a pleasure trip, with at least 6 people on board.

Genelie, do you have trim tabs. If so, next time trim your boat purposly with the windward side of the boat higher than the leeward. It will keep the spray away.

We went out of channel islands harbor monday, June 26th and the conditions were very poor also. The forecast was for 10 to 15 kt winds and 2-3 ft swells and it was off. We planned to head to Santa Cruz Island for some WSB and made it to Gina Platform and turned around and went to Rincon. Right when we got there the wind picked up and white caps started popping up everywhere. Well we got back to port and pulled out the boat and then there were thunderstorms. You could see lightning and rain offshore, but thankfully we weren't out there. It was a very wet and rough ride like yours Genelie, minus the fear for survival.
