Well all was ROUGH :o, no yellowtail for us, we did hear radio chatter of one boat landing 2. 10 hours on the water for 3 vermillion, 1 salmon grouper, 1 sand bass, and 1 sculpin. All good size, 18 + 19 inch boys. long day but a good day. the newly rebuilt lower end seem to run good, I was hopeing to get better fuel millage..but naw...with the smaller under powered moter I normally get 2.83 mile to the gallon.

Sounds like it is time to get as much weight out of the boat as possible to help that under powered engine including running only the fuel that you need for the trip with some fudge factor thrown (about 15%) into the mix ;)

Yeah me and the boys have been trying to loose wieght. :D:D:D:D

Yup, 100lbs + ice, for this trip, could of done with 30lbs, fuel I always keep a full tank, for the what if. lead wieghts, I have gotton better, used to be a full plano container of them, and that was just me, more poles and gear than we ever need. Sure looks good though with all the gear.:)
