California Salmon

...been a while since I've posted to this Forum and decided I needed to balance out the East Coast fishing chatter with good news from the West. After three years of shortened or no salmon seasons, we have one this year, though the long term health of the fishery still unclear. Got out on the 2 Apr weekend opener --a friend and I had fairly quick limits of Chinook, 8-16 lbs each day. Going again tomorrow. Good to get the 210 dirty again.

SWEET. Glad you got something worth while. I too broke out the 210 on this past sat the 16th. Nothing really to post. but it was the first trip of the year with the new chargeng system.
