Boat lifts

Hello, I want to put my 170 DC on a boat lift. The one that I have available has only 2 resting bunks. Do I need to add more? Is anyone else using a lift with there boats? If so what system do you recommen? As of now my boat is sitting in the water, and all sorts of stuff is growning on the bottom of the boat. Will this be difficult to remove? Should I be concerned? FYI it is in fresh water. Any suggestions?

As jack7265 pointed out, you need to have the same configuration on your lift as is on a trailer. Use the trailer bunk support guide and you won't go wrong.

As for the growth, pull your boat out of the water and take a pressure washer to it. It'll come clean. Good luck and let us know how you make out. Pictures of your lift and boat are always welcome.
