Some have asked me how I make my custom Bimini top work and I see a lot of pictures of factory or dealer installed tops that are still in the crews way even when folded down
Simple fix really, all you need to do is install a set of slides so you can then not only lay it down, but allow it to slide some to fit into the engine well for example
Here is a place that has several of them listed

But I suspect you can find them at many places like West Marine or on the Internet. Just pull a Goggle or Bling search on Bimini Top Slides
Another tip I can give you to help reclaim some deck / fishing space when the top is up, is to move your rear support bars (if equipped?) and straps to be as straight down at a 90 degrees from the top as possible. If the straps are tight enough, it will still hold it in place quite well...
