190 bay throttle / gearshift control recall??

i just bought a 2002 190 bay from the original owner, love the boat. i have heard that there is a factory recall on the original throttle/gearshift control. ?? the original is all plastic and is a little sloppy, it is for a 115 merc 4 stroke.

i did a search for this recall and didnt see it in the forums,

From the factory:

There is no recall that I know of from Mercury. We do not have a recall
on this from Triumph Boats.
